POST/v1/disputes/{dispute}/close

Close a dispute

Closes a dispute and accepts the dispute outcome on behalf of the account. Use this action when you have no evidence to submit; closing changes the dispute from needs_response to lost and cannot be reversed.

200Returns the closed dispute object with its updated status, disputed amount, evidence details, balance transactions, and payment information.

Disputed amount. Usually the amount of the charge, but it can differ (usually because of currency fluctuation or because only part of the order is disputed).

List of zero, one, or two balance transactions that show funds withdrawn and reinstated to your Stripe account as a result of this dispute.

ID of the charge that's disputed.

Error handling

dispute must identify the dispute to close. Use this operation only when you intend to accept the dispute, because closing it is irreversible; each expand entry must be a string of no more than 5,000 characters.
